We believe His Word is the main way in which He has chosen to communicate His love for us through Christ Jesus. His Word is a beacon of hope to a lost world and a guiding light to all of us who have been found.

Our purpose with Scents of the Word™ is to fulfill God's request in putting His Word in our hearts. One way in which to do this is to put His Word "on the door frames of your houses and on your gates". In other words, surround yourself with His Word. To let them be a continual reminder of God's ever-present presence in our lives. As we do this we will dig deeper into His Word, the bible, to search Him, to crave a closer intimincy with Him. The more we seek Him, the more of Him we will find. The more we find, the more we will love Him with all our hearts, and our minds, and our soul. His love will change our very being. This was the genesis of Scents of the Word™ Candle Company.

We are also committed to producing the best candle possible. By our testimonials we receive we believe our candles are some of the best on the market today. All of our candles are hand poured using only premium soy blended waxes. We use the finest fragrances available. Each candle is triple scented and doubled wicked to acheive a good, even burn and leave your home smelling wonderful each time you use them. We never use any dyes or synthetic additives in our candles, so the colors will range from pure white to a light shade of tan- the natural color of the wax and fragrances. All of this makes the process of producing our candles more tedious and expensive, but we feel only the best will do.

However, what makes SOW candles stand apart from the rest is God's eternal Word beautifully labeled on each candle. We have blurred the lines between a high quality candle and Christian decor for your home.
